Reparations for Nuclear Harm

New Mexico has a long and complex history with nuclear technologies, activities, and disasters, ranging from nuclear weapons development and testing, to uranium mining, and nuclear waste storage and spills. The state’s nuclear industrial complex has had lasting negative health, environmental and cultural impacts on New Mexico communities. For her doctoral dissertation, Tabitha Hrynick explores how affected people experience and seek repair and reparation for this harm.
